Another brilliant Bastille Day - this year it was held on the plan d'eau
which made a pleasant change - there was something for everyone, games for children (& grown up children) dancing, beer stall
and music to dance to. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the celebrations went on into the small hours. After the
fireworks the music,dancing and drinking continued. Previous years when people had to leave the village hall to
watch the fireworks they tended to drift home - being able to sit and enjoy the dislay at your table was a brilliant idea.
The Commune committee obviously worked very hard to make it such a success........
